Intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP) is a pregnancy-specific liver disease characterized by pruritus and elevated total bile acid (TBA) levels. The most serious impact of ICP is sudden unexplained intrauterine fetal death, especially when an associated TBA ≥ 100 µmol/L is confirmed.We report a case of a 27-year-old female patient with early-onset severe refractory ICP.

Objective: To analyze the determinants for non-vaccination against COVID-19 in pregnant women in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Methods: An epidemiological study with a cross-sectional design was conducted using data from the project titled "Childbirth and Breastfeeding in Children of Mothers Infected by SARS-CoV-2," developed during the pandemic in the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
Results: The study sample consisted of 360 pregnant women, of whom 77.
Background: Eclampsia is among the primary causes of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality in Zanzibar. Many women and men are not aware of the signs, symptoms and causes of eclampsia and may have different explanatory models. Therefore, this study aimed to describe the community understanding of pre-eclampsia, as a key stage to improve maternal and perinatal health in Unguja Island, Zanzibar.
