Introduction: Giant basal cell carcinoma (GBCC) is a rare and aggressive subtype of basal cell carcinoma (BCC), characterized by a diameter of ≥5 cm and a potential for deep tissue invasion. This study aimed to present our experience with the surgical management of GBCC in the maxillofacial region, focusing on resection and immediate reconstruction strategies.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of 5926 patients with BCC in the maxillofacial region from 2010 to 2020, with a specific emphasis on 32 patients diagnosed with GBCC.

To investigate the changes in the narrow band imaging (NBI) phenotypes of oropharyngeal, hypopharyngeal, and laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma after neoadjuvant immunochemotherapy, and to explore the clinical value of NBI endoscopy in re-evaluation and follow-up of pharyngeal and laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma after neoadjuvant immunochemotherapy. Twenty-nine patients diagnosed with locally advanced pharyngeal or laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University from November 2021 to January 2024 and receiving 2 cycles of neoadjuvant immunochemotherapy were selected, including 26 males and 3 females, aged 43-80 years. Regular NBI and white light (WL) endoscopy examinations, as well as imaging examinations such as CT scans, were performed.

We aimed to determine the treatment-assessment value of morphologic tumoral hemorrhage patterns and first- and high-order radiomic features extracted from contrast-enhanced susceptibility-weighted imaging (CE-SWI).
Materials And Methods: This retrospective institutional review board-authorized study included 33 patients with extremity UPS with magnetic resonance imaging and resection performed from February 2021 to May 2023.

Objectives: To assess the feasibility of trial recruitment and confirm that retroperitoneal robotic partial nephrectomy (RRPN) has the same oncological efficacy as transperitoneal robotic partial nephrectomy (TRPN), with time advantages and less peri-operative morbidity, in a randomised controlled trial (RCT).
Patients And Methods: The study was designed as a single-centre, open-label, feasibility RCT. Patients with suspected localised renal cell carcinoma referred for robotic partial nephrectomy were randomised in a 1:1 ratio to receive either TRPN or RRPN.
