The aim of the study was to evaluate the concomitant psychiatric disorders of anxiety and depression in patients with epilepsy caused by low-grade brain tumors (LBTs). We retrospectively reviewed the clinical data of patients who underwent preoperative neuropsychological evaluations of anxiety and depression and subsequent epilepsy surgery for LBTs. Background: Seizures, including status epilepticus (SE), are common in anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis (NMDARE). We aimed to describe clinical and electrographic features of patients with seizures with NMDARE, determine factors associated with SE, and describe long-term seizure outcomes.

In this case study, a self-described biofield therapy (BT) practitioner (participant) took part in multiple (n = 60) treatment and control (non-treatment) sessions under double-blind conditions. During the treatment phases, the participant provided BT treatment at a distance of about 12 inches from the cells, alternating with rest phases where no such efforts were made. Human pancreatic cancer cell activity was assessed using three markers - cytoskeleton changes (tubulin and β-actin) and Ca uptake.
