Background: Hepatic artery infusion pump (HAIP) chemotherapy is a locoregional treatment for intrahepatic malignancies. HAIPs are surgically implanted, and the catheter tip is typically inserted into a ligated gastroduodenal artery stump. Potential complications at the catheter insertion site include dehiscence, pseudoaneurysm or extravasation, and adjacent hepatic arterial stenosis and thrombosis.

Purpose: To evaluate the consistency and agreement between portal venous pressure measured by fine-needle (F), portal vein catheterization (D), and hepatic vein balloon-occlusion (W) in decompensated cirrhotic patients with intrahepatic venovenous shunts (IHVS).
Materials And Methods: 156 consecutive patients planning to receive transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt in our center were screened for study participation. The F/D/W were assessed for consistency by Pearson coefficient (r), linear regression coefficient (R), and intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), and for disagreement (error exceeding 20% of D) by Bland-Altman method.
A 69-year-old man underwent liver transplantation with a deceased donor for cirrhosis secondary to steatohepatitis. The arterial anastomosis was performed between the celiac trunk of the donor and the hepatic artery of the recipient. In the second postoperative month, he developed abdominal pain and abnormal liver function tests.

Hemobilia is a relatively uncommon but important cause of gastrointestinal bleeding. It occurs due to abnormal communications between the biliary system and surrounding vasculature, often caused by surgical interventions, trauma, infections, or malignancies. The rise of advanced hepato-pancreato-biliary techniques, including radiofrequency ablation and transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS) placement, necessitates careful evaluation for the potential presence of hemobilia during the post-procedural period of these patients.

A 70-year-old man was incidentally diagnosed with a single hepatic mass lesion in his right hepatic lobe during a computed tomography scan. The lesion exhibited consistent enhancement with contrast agents on computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and hepatic arterial angiography. While a definitive diagnosis could not be made preoperatively, the lesion was surgically resected due to its slight enlargement over two months, suggesting a potential malignancy.
