Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are present on gingival epithelial cells and recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) on pathogenic bacteria, induce the secretion of proinflammatory cytokines, and initiate innate and adaptive antigen-specific immune responses to eradicate the invading microbes. This study aims to create predictive models, with and without taking into account patient variation, based on dose, linear energy transfer (LET) and periventricular zone (PVZ) in a national cohort of patients with glioma treated with pencil beam scanning (PBS).
Materials And Methods: A cohort of 87 consecutive patients with oligodendroglioma or astrocytoma (WHO grade 2-4) treated with PBS from January 2019 to December 2021 was included.

This study investigated tempol action on genes and miRNAs related to NFκB pathway in androgen dependent or independent cell lines and in TRAMP model in the early and late-stages of cancer progression. A bioinformatic search was conducted to select the miRNAs to be measured based on the genes of interest from NFκB pathway. The miR-let-7c-5p, miR-26a-5p and miR-155-5p and five target genes (BCL2, BCL2L1, RELA, TNF, PTGS2) were chosen for RT-PCR and gene enrichment analyses.
