Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the influence of photobiomodulation therapy on the regenerative potential of non-vital mature permanent teeth of healthy Canine dogs.

Methods: 54 mature roots, obtained from 27 premolars, in dogs, were selected and divided into three equal groups where Group I received regenerative endodontic procedures (REPs) using blood clot as a scaffold (positive control), Group II received similar treatment as Group I, followed by photobiomodulation therapy (study group) and Group III did not receive any intervention (negative control). Each group was further divided into three equal subgroups for the evaluation of the vascular area percentage and fibroblast count at 3 different intervals; 3, 10, and 15 weeks.

Purpose: Low-dose CT (LDCT) screening effectively reduces lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) mortality. However, accurately evaluating the malignant potential of indeterminate lung nodules remains a challenge. Carcinoembryonic antigen cell adhesion molecule 6 (CEACAM6), a potential biomarker for distinguishing benign pulmonary nodules from LUAD, may be leveraged for noninvasive positron emission tomography (PET) imaging to aid LUAD diagnosis.

People seek happiness when they try to experience as much positive emotion (and as little negative emotion) as possible. A growing body of research suggests that seeking happiness, rather than resulting in yet more happiness, often leads to negative consequences, like less happiness and less available time. Adding to this happiness paradox, the current research examines whether seeking happiness leads to the impairment of self-regulation due to the depletion of regulatory resources.

Antibiotic-resistant bacteria often cause lethal infections in both the surficial and deep organs of humans. Failure of antibiotics in resistant infections leads to more effective alternative therapies, like spatiotemporally controllable piezodynamic therapy (PZDT) with deep penetration. Currently, PZDT demands further investigation for improved treatment outcomes and the corresponding therapeutic mechanisms.

Every year, billions of birds migrate to optimize their foraging, shelter and breeding. They use an inclination compass, which, unlike the technical compass, distinguishes between the directions towards the magnetic equator from the magnetic pole based on magnetic inclination angles, which range from ±90 deg at the poles to 0 deg at the equator. During autumn migration, some species cross the magnetic equator, where field lines are horizontal, i.
