Background: Chronic inflammatory responses are involved in the initiation and development of the coronary slow flow phenomenon (CSFP). However, as a newly developed immuno-nutritional inflammation indicator, the global immune-nutrition inflammation index (GINI) has not been well elaborated for predicting CSFP in patients with angina and no obstructive coronary arteries (ANOCA).
Methods: A total of 1422 individuals with ANOCA were consecutively included in this study, of whom 93 developed CSFP (CSFP group).

Background: The effectiveness and safety of traditional versus dual lumen microcatheter (DLMC)-assisted parallel wiring in chronic total occlusion (CTO) percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has received limited study.
Aims: To compare traditional versus dual lumen microcatheter (DLMC)-assisted parallel wiring.
Methods: We compared the clinical and angiographic characteristics and outcomes of traditional versus DLMC-assisted parallel wiring after failed antegrade wiring (AW) in a large, multicenter CTO PCI registry.

Background: Wedged hepatic venous pressure (WHVP) is a crucial variable for accurately assessing the hepatic venous pressure gradient (HVPG) and is vital for the diagnosis and prognostic evaluation of patients with portal hypertension (PH).
Aim: To investigate the anatomical characteristics of balloon-occluded hepatic venous angiography in patients with PH and analyze the relationship between the WHVP and portal venous pressure (PVP).
Methods: This retrospective study included 877 patients with PH who met the inclusion criteria from January 2020 to June 2024.

Objective: Although vagal paragangliomas (VPs) and carotid body paragangliomas (CBPs) are both neck paragangliomas, they have different surgical risks and clinical courses. In this report, we investigated the feeding arteries of VPs compared with CBPs, with an aim to better differentiate these tumors and improve our understanding of their angioarchitecture.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of angiography data from 3 cases of VPs and 10 tumors from 9 cases of CBP.
Unlabelled: The rising prevalence of diabetes mellitus increases the need for treatment of diabetic maculopathy (DM). Evaluation of surgical outcomes in DM, including postoperative microstructural changes in the retina and its vascular plexuses, remains a relevant challenge.
Purpose: This article assesses changes in angiographic parameters of the retinal capillary plexuses after surgical treatment of DM using various methods of internal limiting membrane (ILM) peeling.
