Background: Few studies have explored the relationship between macronutrient intake and sleep outcomes using daily data from mobile apps.
Objective: This cross-sectional study aimed to examine the associations between macronutrients, dietary components, and sleep parameters, considering their interdependencies.
Methods: We analyzed data from 4825 users of the Pokémon Sleep and Asken smartphone apps, each used for at least 7 days to record objective sleep parameters and dietary components, respectively.

Voltage-gated potassium conductances [Formula: see text] play a critical role not only in normal neural function, but also in many neurological disorders and related therapeutic interventions. In particular, in an important animal model of epileptic seizures, 4-aminopyridine (4-AP) administration is thought to induce seizures by reducing [Formula: see text] in cortex and other brain areas. Interestingly, 4-AP has also been useful in the treatment of neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis (MS) and spinal cord injury, where it is thought to improve action potential propagation in axonal fibers.

Parameters involved in this process include the dissolution rate (), dissolution rate constant (), and diffusion coefficient (), whose accurate measurement is particularly important in fields such as biopharmaceuticals, materials science, agriculture, etc. However, the commonly used measurement methods at present cannot obtain these parameters simultaneously.

Aldosterone is a key regulator of fluid and electrolyte balance in the body. It is often dysregulated in heart failure (HF) and is a key driver of cardiac remodelling and worse clinical outcomes. Potassium regulation is essential for normal cardiac, gastrointestinal and neuromuscular function.

This study combines experimental techniques and mathematical modeling to investigate the dynamics of C. elegans body-wall muscle cells. Specifically, by conducting voltage clamp and mutant experiments, we identify key ion channels, particularly the L-type voltage-gated calcium channel (EGL-19) and potassium channels (SHK-1, SLO-2), which are crucial for generating action potentials.
