Background: The removal of excessive neck skin is considered the key parameter in the best postoperative outcome after a neck rejuvenation surgery.
Objective: To evaluate the utility of a local anesthesia-based direct neck skin excision surgery in patients with skin laxity and sagging skin in the neck in terms of postoperative aesthetic outcome and patient satisfaction within a 12-month follow-up period.
Materials And Methods: A total of 47 female patients who underwent local anesthesia-based direct neck skin excision surgery for the rejuvenation of skin laxity and sagging skin in the cervical neck were included.

Purpose: This qualitative study assessed internet access and use, barriers and facilitators to participating in digital health interventions or programs, and the engagement experience in virtual versus in-person health interventions among rural adults and rural cancer survivors.
Methods: Rural adults (n = 10) and rural cancer survivors (n = 10) were recruited from previous studies to participate in an in-depth interview. The interview guide contained eight open-ended questions related to participation in technology-based programs.

Single-cell RNA-seq methods can be used to delineate cell types and states at unprecedented resolution but do little to explain why certain genes are expressed. Single-cell ATAC-seq and multiome (ATAC + RNA) have emerged to give a complementary view of the cell state. It is however unclear what additional information can be extracted from ATAC-seq data besides transcription factor binding sites.

Epistaxis, or nosebleeds, is a common medical concern in emergency departments worldwide, often triggered by trauma, infections, allergies, and high blood pressure. Despite its frequency, there is limited research on the knowledge and attitudes of health-related students regarding the first aid management of epistaxis. This study aimed to assess the knowledge and attitudes toward first aid management of epistaxis among health-related specialty students at Al-Baha University, Saudi Arabia.

The goal of this study is to determine factors associated with acceptance into Canadian plastic surgery (PS) residency programs by Saudi Arabian Medical Graduates. This is a cross-sectional study targeting eligible Saudi Arabian applicants to any Canadian PS residency program between 2017 and 2022. Collected data included demographics, education/licensure, electives in Canada, and letter of reference.
