Early esophageal cancer with mucosal bridging in the resting room: A case report.

Background: Patients diagnosed with esophageal mucosal bridges often experience symptoms such as chest pain and dysphagia, which pose considerable challenges for endoscopic surgical interventions.
Case Summary: We present a case involving early-stage esophageal cancer discovered in a resting room, notable for the rare manifestation of esophageal mucosal bridging. Following a comprehensive multidisciplinary discussion and the development of a treatment strategy, we proceeded with endoscopic submucosal dissection for the patient.

Biliary cannulation in the context of intradiverticular papilla (IDP) during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) remains a challenge even for experts. A 71-year-old woman with choledocholithiasis failed extrainstitutional ERCP because of the presence of IDP. A new ERCP was performed, identifying papillary orifice at the edge of the diverticulum, biliary cannulation by means of SpyBite and sphincterotome, visualizing intra and extrahepatic bile duct dilatation, proceeding to large balloon bilioplasty with extraction of biliary sludge, with optimal results and without complications.

A fit and well gentleman in his 40s presented with vomiting and obstipation. His only relevant history being recent ingestion of a large quantity of mangoes. A computer tomography demonstrated a small bowel obstruction with a transition point in the right iliac fossa, but no other pathological findings.

It results due to the persistence of the remnant of the fourth dorsal aortic arch. We present a case of a 66-year-old female presenting with complaints of throat pain and difficulty swallowing.

Background: Xanthogranulomatous inflammation (XGI) is an uncommon process involving an accumulation of inflammatory cells, commonly lipid-laden macrophages. XGI has been described to occur throughout the body but only rarely in the lower gastrointestinal tract. We describe a case of XGI contributing to chronic obstructive symptoms in the terminal ileum, in which the patient had an initial diagnostic laparoscopy, continued to have symptoms, then proceeded to have the definitive treatment.
