We demonstrate that amplitude modulation of a high-peak-power femtosecond laser pulse allows to change fundamentally the frequency-angular structure (FAS) of the supercontinuum formed during the filamentation in both molecular and atomic gases. Particularly, modulation with a 4-hole mask forms an inverted pattern of conical emission (CE) with its predominance in the Stokes wing of the pulse spectrum. We explain this phenomenon as a joint effect of self-phase modulation and temporal pulse splitting of interfering beamlets formed by the modulating mask.

The tripartite motif-containing (TRIM) superfamily is the largest family of RING-type E3 ubiquitin ligases that is conserved across the metazoan kingdom. Previous studies in mammals have demonstrated that TRIM59 possesses ubiquitin-protein ligase activity and acts as a negative regulator of NF-κB signaling. However, TRIM59 has rarely been characterized in fish.

Culture broth with secreted macromolecules and culture broth of filamentous fungi showing disperse growth exhibit elevated viscosity, usually with shear-thinning flow behavior. High viscosity, however, poses a serious challenge in the production and research of these compounds and organisms. It commonly causes insufficient mixing and oxygen transfer in large- and small-scale bioreactors.

In this work, we report the experimental generation, focusing and propagation characteristics, and spatial self-phase modulation (SSPM) phenomenon of fractional-order HPVBs.
