Recently, interface scattering and low mobility have significantly impeded the performance of two-dimensional (2D) P-type transistors. 2D semiconductor tellurium (Te) has garnered significant interest owing to its unique atomic chain crystal structure, which confers ultrahigh hole mobility. van der Waals heterojunction enhances transistor performance by reducing scattering at the gate-channel interface, attributed to its high-quality interface.

Molecular-dipole oriented universal growth of conjugated polymers into semiconducting single-crystal thin films.

Beijing Advanced Innovation Center for Integrated Circuits, School of Integrated Circuits, Peking University, Beijing, China.

Precise control over crystallinity and morphology of conjugated polymers (CPs) is essential for progressing organic electronics. However, manufacturing single-crystal thin films of CPs presents substantial challenges due to their complex molecular structures, distorted chain conformations, and unbalanced crystallization kinetics. In this work, we demonstrate a universal nanoconfined molecular-dipole orientating strategy to craft high-quality single-crystal thin films for a variety of CPs, spanning from traditional thiophene- and theinothiophene-based homopolymers to diketopyrrolopyrrole- (i.

High-performance, ultra-sensitive, and universal protein post-translational modification (PTM) and protein-protein interaction (PPI) technologies are eagerly pursued in the pharmaceutical industry and bioanalytical research. Novel PTM and PPI detection methods outperform traditional assays in scope and scalability, enabling the collection of information on multiple biochemical targets. Detecting peptides and proteins at the single-molecule level is done by utilizing nanosized transducing elements and assaying solutions at very high analyte concentrations, in the nanomolar range or higher.

Two-dimensional-material-based memristor arrays hold promise for data-centric applications such as artificial intelligence and big data. However, accessing individual memristor cells and effectively controlling sneak current paths remain challenging. Here, we propose a van der Waals engineering approach to create one-transistor-one-memristor (1T1M) cells by assembling the emerging two-dimensional ferroelectric CuCrPS with MoS and -BN.

This paper details the hardware implementation of a Universal Converter controlled by an Artificial Neural Network (ANN), utilizing key components such as six Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors (IGBTs), two inductors, and two capacitors for energy storage and voltage smoothing. A Digital Signal Processor (DSP) serves as the core controller, processing real-time input and feedback signals, including voltage and current measurements, to dynamically manage five operational modes: rectifier buck, inverter boost, DC-DC buck, DC-DC boost, and AC voltage control. The pre-trained ANN algorithm generates pulse-width modulation (PWM) signals to control the switching of the IGBTs, optimizing timing and duty cycles for efficient operation.
