CD4CD8 TCRαβ (double-negative [DN]) T cells represent a rare T cell population that promotes immunological tolerance through various cytotoxic mechanisms. In mice, autologous transfer of DN T cells has shown protective effects against autoimmune diabetes and graft-versus-host disease. Here, we characterized human DN T cells from people living with type 1 diabetes (PWT1D) and healthy controls.

In this field, the use of optical fibers is rapidly increasing, and the ability to generate high-quality metal patterns on their non-planar surface would further extend their application. Here, we propose to use alternating metal shielding and dielectric confinement to engineer the mode-division properties of tapered optical fiber neural implants.

Gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD) describes a group of rare benign and cancerous lesions originating from the trophoblast cells of the placenta. These neoplasms are unconventional entities, being one of the few instances in which cancer develops from the cells of another organism, the foetus. Although this condition was first described over 100 years ago, the specific genetic and non-genetic drivers of this disease remain unknown to this day.

A significant challenge in commercializing electrochemical CO reduction (COR) is achieving catalyst durability. In this study, online inductively coupled mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) was used to investigate catalyst degradation via nanoparticle detachment and/or dissolution into metal ions under COR operating conditions in 0.1 M KHCO.

Introduction: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a rare haematological cancer with poor 5-years overall survival (OS) and high relapse rate. Leukemic cells are sensitive to Natural Killer (NK) cell mediated killing. However, NK cells are highly impaired in AML, which promote AML immune escape from NK cell immune surveillance.
