Introduction: The morbidity and mortality of acute kidney injury (AKI) are increasing. Epigenetic regulation and immune cell infiltration are thought to be involved in the AKI. However, the relationship between epigenetic regulation and immune cell infiltration in AKI has not been elucidated.

Background And Aims: The pathological characteristics of lymphocyte infiltration in the hepatic portal tracts of patients with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) remain unclear. Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) are ectopic lymphoid tissues associated with the exacerbation of autoimmune reactions. Here, we evaluate the role of TLSs in PBC and investigate their potential therapeutic value.

Background: Lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) belongs to the Arenavirus family known for inducing strong cytotoxic T-cell responses in both mice and humans. LCMV has been engineered for the development of cancer immunotherapies, currently undergoing evaluation in phase I/II clinical trials. Initial findings have demonstrated safety and an exceptional ability to activate and expand tumor-specific T lymphocytes.

Background: Therapeutic drug monitoring is effective for optimizing anti-tumor necrosis factor therapies in inflammatory bowel disease, but for vedolizumab, a gut-selective leucocyte migration inhibitor, data are scarce.
Methods: Observational cohort study including 116 bio-experienced inflammatory bowel disease patients treated with vedolizumab for active luminal disease. Biobanked trough blood samples (n = 676) covering 96% of patients were analyzed using a drug-binding immunofluorometric assay.

Experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) is a mouse model that can be used to investigate aetiology, pathogenesis, and treatment approaches for multiple sclerosis (MS). A novel integrated bioinformatics approach was used to understand the involvement of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in the spleen of EAE mice through data mining of existing microarray and RNA-seq datasets. We screened differentially expressed mRNAs using mRNA expression profile data of EAE spleens taken from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO).
