Background & Aims: Current estimates of the prevalence of iron deficiency anaemia (IDA) in patients with chronic intestinal failure (CIF) exceed those seen in general population, however, the studies to-date are limited with relatively small numbers of patients. The aim of the study was to determine the point prevalence of IDA in a large cohort of stable HPN-dependent adults managed by a specialist Intestinal Failure Unit.
Methods: This was a retrospective cohort study of HPN-dependent adults managed by a national UK IF Reference Centre between 01/01/2019 and 31/12/2019.

This study aimed to assess the reporting of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) following administration of unfractionated heparin (UFH), low molecular weight heparins (LMWHs), fondaparinux, and danaparoid, in relation to their usage in European Economic Area (EEA).
Materials And Methods: The total number of ADRs of each anticoagulant between 2017 to 2021 was collected using data from the EudraVigilance database.

Background & Aims: Enteral autonomy, a key outcome of intestinal rehabilitation in patients with intestinal failure (IF), is challenging to predict due to disease complexity and heterogeneity. The aim of this cohort study is to develop and validate a multivariate model to predict enteral autonomy in patients with IF caused by Crohn's disease (CDIF), and to derive an outcome-based severity classification for CDIF.
Methods: The CDIF-Wean Score was constructed and internally validated in a cohort of 182 patients with CDIF from a tertiary IF unit.

Objectives: To investigate the safety profiles and clinical outcomes in a continuous cohort of tuberculosis (TB) patients from a clinical referral centre in Germany receiving self-administered outpatient parenteral antimicrobial therapy (sOPAT).
Methods: We conducted a retrospective observational cohort study of patients receiving sOPAT after discharge from the Research Center Borstel in Germany between January 2015 and December 2020. Data were extracted from medical records.
