Background: Tissue engineering holds promise for vascular repair and regeneration by mimicking the extracellular matrix of blood vessels. However, achieving a functional and thick vascular wall with aligned fiber architecture by electrospinning remains a significant challenge.
Methods: A novel electrospinning setup was developed that utilizes an auxiliary electrode and a spring.

Background: Currently, the pathophysiology of new bone formation in radiographic axial spondyloarthritis (r-axSpA) remains unclear. Cellular elements and their secreted bone turnover markers might be one of the underlying mechanisms that drive the new bone formation. Electrical stimulation displayed tremendous potential in promoting nerve regeneration. However, the current electrical stimulation therapy required complex traversing wires and external power sources, which significantly limited its practical application.
