Background: Electronic medical records (EMRs) provide multiple efficiencies in communication to clinicians. The ability to copy and paste text in an EMR can be useful; however, it also conveys a risk of inaccurate documentation. Studies in international settings have described such overuse of copying to result in 'note bloat', with the dilution of relevant clinical information and potential clinical detriment.

Design: A one-time survey consisting of validated and/or previously used instruments measuring students' sense of belonging in orthopedics, prospective belonging uncertainty (an individual's worry that they will not fit in), stereotype threat (the effect of negative stereotypes on stereotyped group-members), and pluralistic ignorance (erroneously believing your beliefs are different than "typical" group-members).
Setting: The survey was distributed at Loyola University, St.

Background: Healthcare professionals (HCPs), including doctors of dental medicine (DMDs) and doctors of medicine (MDs), use social networking sites (SNSs) for personal and professional purposes. This study aims to: (i) explore DMDs and MDs awareness of their online presence, (ii) examine how frequently and for what reasons DMDs and MDs monitor their online images, (iii) determine the prevalence of finding inaccurate, incomplete, or unprofessional information about themselves, examine that experience, and investigate actions performed regarding unprofessional or embarrassing posted material, (iv) assess concerns about their own SNSs usage and the content they post.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted among DMDs and MDs in Croatia using a questionnaire.

Determining accurate counts and size distributions for biological particles (bioparticles) is crucial in wide-ranging fields, but current methods to this end are susceptible to bias from polydispersity in size. This bias can be mitigated by incorporating a separation step prior to characterization. For this reason, asymmetrical flow field-flow fractionation (AF4) with on-line multiangle light scattering (MALS) has become an important platform for determining particle size.
