Background: Infiltrative hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) remains a therapeutic challenge due to its aggressive course and poor prognosis. Hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC) plus immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and molecular targeted therapies (MTTs) has shown early promise for advanced HCC, but its role in advanced infiltrative HCC is unclear. This study aims to investigate the efficacy and safety of HAIC combined with ICIs and MTTs in the treatment of advanced infiltrative HCC.

Hyaluronic acid fillers rarely cause potentially devastating occlusive adverse events that require immediate hyaluronidase salvage infiltrations. An exploratory photographic investigation probed whether topical heparin's anticlotting and anti-inflammatory properties could synergize with and enhance the effectiveness of hyaluronidase. Based on heparin pharmacodynamics, the authors explored the rationale for associating topical heparins with hyaluronidase in treating occlusive side effects following accidental intra-arterial hyaluronic acid injections.

Background: Pancreatic cancer is one of the most malignant tumors with an inferior prognosis. This study aims to determine the prognostic significance of immune-inflammatory scores and coagulation indices in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer(MPC) and develop a predictive nomogram.
Methods: This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 384 patients with MPC who underwent intra-arterial infusion chemotherapy (IAIC).

Preoperative identification of the Adamkiewicz artery (AKA) with adequate reconstruction or preservation during surgery is useful for protecting the spinal cord from ischemia during thoracoabdominal aortic repair. However, the identification of the AKA remains challenging in some cases, especially with chronic aortic dissection. In a 45-year-old man with chronic aortic dissection requiring thoracoabdominal aortic repair, conventional contrast-enhanced CT or MR angiography failed to detect AKA due to the large entry tear and an enlarged false lumen.

Objective: To assess whether intra-arterial tenecteplase administered after successful endovascular recanalisation improves outcomes in patients with acute arterial occlusion of the posterior circulation.
Design: Multicentre randomised controlled trial.
Setting: 31 hospitals in China, 24 January 2023 to 24 August 2023.
