Objectives: Rapid-onset obesity with hypoventilation, hypothalamic dysfunction, autonomic dysregulation (ROHHAD) is a rare syndrome associated with high morbidity and mortality. Diagnosis is often challenging. We describe three cases of ROHHAD with heterogeneous presentations but some consistent clinical features, including hyperprolactinaemia at diagnosis.

Objectives: To investigate the association between sexual maturation and anterior disc displacement (ADD) of temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
Materials And Methods: Adolescents aged 13-14 years old, attending the first grade of one private junior school, were recruited. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was used to confirm ADD, in addition, the serum levels of sex hormones were tested.

As human development continues to encroach into natural habitats, artificial light at night (ALAN) has increasingly become a concern for wildlife. Nocturnal animals are especially vulnerable to ALAN, as the physiology and behavior of nocturnal species have evolved under conditions associated with predictably dark environments. Studies exposing amphibians to constant bright light provide evidence for changes to normal metabolism, growth, and behavior, but few of these studies have used treatments of dim ALAN comparable to that found in affected habitats.

Background: It is well-established that sleep regulates immune functions. Immunological functions are dependent on circadian rhythms and regular sleep as both have an impact on the magnitude of immune responses following antigenic challenge (eg, in vaccination). Here we investigated whether nocturnal shift work can influence post-vaccination response.
