The article is based on the results of sociological survey of medical workers of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2021. The approaches to issues of their professional activities are analyzed. Background: Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) countries have higher cervical and breast cancer mortality rates and later stage at diagnosis compared with the rest of WHO European Region. The aim was to explore current early detection practices including "dispensarization" for breast and cervix cancer in the region.
Methods: A questionnaire survey on early detection practices for breast and cervix cancer was sent to collaborators in 11 countries, differentiating services in the primary health setting, and population-based programs.

Background: The Russian Federation has introduced a vertical large-scale program of 'dispensarization' (Program) that includes health check-ups and screenings for the entire adult population. It is expected to improve the results of medical interventions and ensure health gains at a relatively low cost. The major research question: Does the design and implementation of the program meet the expectations?
Methods: We analyze regulatory acts and the literature on the design and the outcomes of the Program.

The analysis of opinions of district pediatricians about state and perspectives of development of primary medical sanitary care for children in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic permitted to obtain competent assessment of quality of polyclinic medical care. The positive tendencies in activities of children polyclinics were established. However, the problem of achieving higher quality of medical care of children continues to be actual.

In Russia, the population aged 60 years and older is the fastest increasing group. This is the reason of augmenting interest to screening programs permitting to timely detect chronic disease, to proceed with treatment and to stabilize condition of patient. At the same time, screening programs require permanent analysis and development that became a foundation for the actual study.
