The authors present 5 cases of transposition of the 5th to the 4th ray according to Le Viet's method. This is indicated for the aesthetic and functional defects that follow total or subtotal amputation of the ring finger. The technique consists of radial transposition of the whole ray and intracarpal arthrodesis after cuneiform osteotomy of the hamate bone. It is easier to perform than the traditional metacarpal osteotomy and the results were uniformly good.

Background And Objectives: The unifying articular theory suggests that intraneural ganglion cysts in the cubital tunnel arise from the elbow joint and are connected to the ulnar nerve through an articular branch. This study aimed to report our clinical experience with these cysts and our surgical findings and outcomes.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 13 patients who underwent surgery for cubital tunnel syndrome caused by an intraneural ganglion cyst of the ulnar nerve.

This study aimed to compare basilic vein tunnel transposition (BVTT) to basilic vein elevation transposition (BVET) technique for superficialization of a basilic arteriovenous fistula. This is a systematic review and meta-analysis comparing outcomes between BVTT and BVET for brachiobasilic arteriovenous fistula (AVF) creation. Primary endpoints were primary patency at several time intervals during follow-up and postoperative local complications, whereas secondary endpoints included primary assisted patency and secondary patency.

Introduction And Importance: Situs Inversus Totalis (SIT) is a rare condition characterized by the transposition of internal organs. Given the anatomical variations in SIT, surgeons must exercise extreme caution when performing laparoscopic cholecystectomy to avoid iatrogenic bile duct injury. Despite the high difficulty index associated with laparoscopic cholecystectomy in SIT, there is only one case report of common bile duct (CBD) injury in the English-language literature.

In the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana, parental age is known to affect somatic mutation rates in their immediate progeny and here we show that this age dependent effect persists across successive generations. Using a set of detector lines carrying the mutated uidA gene, we examined if a particular parental age maintained across five consecutive generations affected the rates of base substitution (BSR), intrachromosomal recombination (ICR), frameshift mutation (FS), and transposition. The frequency of functional GUS reversions were assessed in seedlings as a function of identical/different parental ages across generations.

Cubital Tunnel Syndrome (CuTS) is the compression of the ulnar nerve as it courses through the cubital tunnel near the elbow at the location colloquially referred to as the "funny bone". CuTS is the most commonly diagnosed mononeuropathy after carpal tunnel syndrome. Cubital tunnel syndrome can manifest as numbness, tingling, or pain in the ring/small fingers and dorsoulnar hand.
