Iliac artery aneurysms may cause ureteral obstruction. We report 1 case of isolated external artery aneurysm in childhood. The patient was treated by ureterolysis with resection and grafting of the aneurysm.

Objective: This study's objective is to assess the effect of preoperative factors on postoperative hydroureteronephrosis (HUN) after radical cystectomy (RC) in patients with bladder cancer (BC).
Methodology: Patients who underwent RC for BC between January 2019 and November 2022 and had unilateral or bilateral postoperative HUN were retrospectively analyzed. Patients without preoperative HUN but with postoperative HUN constituted the patient group, while patients without both preoperative and postoperative HUN constituted the control group, and they were compared with each other.

Pyelonephritis is one of the main systemic bacterial infections encountered in emergency departments. We present a case of diabetes woman aged 30 years referred to our urology department of El-Idrissi Hospital, Kenitra (Morocco) for recurrent episodes of urinary tract infection, multiple urolithiasis, chills, unilateral lower back pain, chills and severe hydroureteronephrosis. Abdominal CT showed a non-functioning obstructed kidney with pyelic and ureteral stones.

Management of the posterior urethral valve (PUV) is a clinical challenge in pediatric urology. We report the results of a modified valve ablation method without using a pediatric resectoscope and thermal energy. Patients were selected from children with PUV who were referred to the pediatric urology clinic of Shahid Labbafinejad Hospital, Tehran, Iran, and have undergone endoscopic valve ablation surgery between May 2019 to May 2021.
