Vestibular deficits are common and debilitating, and many patients struggle with dynamic balance, even after treatment with standard rehabilitation techniques. The objective of this study was to measure changes in computerized dynamic posturography sensory ratio information after computerized vestibular retraining therapy (CVRT). This prospective, single-group, interventional study enrolled adult participants with stable, unilateral vestibular deficits.

The link between abnormal sleep duration and stroke outcomes remains contentious. This meta-analysis quantifies how both short and long sleep durations impact stroke incidence and mortality. A comprehensive search was conducted in PubMed, Web of Science, Cochrane Library, Embase, and Google Scholar up to November 1, 2024, to identify cohort studies evaluating sleep duration and stroke outcomes.

Management of African wild dogs (Lycaon pictus) in zoos involves several challenges, including the difficulty of providing appropriate stimulation and enrichment for naturally wide-ranging, energetic, cursorial hunters. Perhaps consequently, zoo packs can exhibit bouts of extreme intra-pack aggression rarely seen in the wild. As with other species, considerable efforts are required to balance the retention and exhibition of wild-type behaviors, against ensuring that the nutritional and welfare needs of individual group-living animals are met.
