Successful implementation of an osseointegration program requires a skilled and committed interdisciplinary team engaged in supporting patients and their families throughout the OI process. The roles and responsibilities of clinical and ancillary team members are described in detail, along with a discussion of the needed patient and family support resources. Time spent developing the interdisciplinary team, with strong regulatory support and engagement of hospital administration and the health system, will promote higher patient satisfaction and outcomes and innovative future directions.

Introduction: Children with CHD are at increased risk for neurodevelopmental disabilities and neuropsychological impairments throughout their life span. The purpose of this report is to share our experience building a sustainable, novel, inpatient, interdisciplinary Neurocardiac Critical Care Program to mitigate risks and optimize outcomes during the ICU stay.
Material And Methods: A descriptive review was chosen to identify meaningful characteristics, challenges and lessons learned related to the establishment, expansion of and sustainability of Neurocardiac Critical Care Program in a 26-bed pediatric cardiac ICU.
Background: Medication misuse is a threat to public health and patient safety, and strategies to prevent medication misuse should be incorporated in nursing education.
Method: An interdisciplinary nursing and pharmacy team collaborated on a pilot project with graduate FNP students to adapt and evaluate a training program for pharmacy students on the prevention of medication misuse for nursing based on the publicly available online program Generation Rx.
Results: Of 39 students who participated in the training, 74% ( = 29) completed pre- and posttest surveys.
