The title compound, CHClFN, was synthesized from 3-(tri-fluoro-meth-yl)-1-pyrazole and chloro-(4-chloro-phen-yl)methyl-ene)di-benzene. The structure features intra-molecular (Ph)C-H⋯N and inter-molecular (Ph)C-H⋯F hydrogen bonds, as well as C-H⋯π-ring inter-actions between the phenyl and pyrazole rings.

Incompatible electrode/electrolyte interface often leads to dendrite growth, parasitic reactions and corrosion, posing significant challenges to the application of Zn anodes. Herein, we introduce a biomimetic antifreeze protein localized gel electrolyte (ALGE) with multifunctional capabilities to address these issues by combining electrolyte modification with interface optimization. ALGE modifies the Zn2+ solvation structure and the hydrogen-bond network adjacent to zinc anode, effectively suppressing hydrogen evolution.

Lithium has become a critical element in the modern era due to the emergence of lithium-ion battery (LIB) technologies as a mean to lessen the environmental burden created by the energy usage from conventional sources. In this study, LiCO was obtained from spent LIBs using a hydrometallurgical method and sintered with Taylor Flow Reactor (TFR) synthesized NiMn(OH) precursor to synthesize high-voltage LiNiMnO (R-LNMO) cathode material for the first time and conducted a series of tests and inspections for structure, morphology, electrochemical lithium cycling behaviour and its controlling factors, electronic conductivity, lithium ion diffusion characteristics and self-discharge behaviour. The results are benchmarked with C-LNMO synthesized through a similar processing but using LiCO obtained from a commercial source.

DNA nanostructures are typically assembled by thermal annealing in buffers containing magnesium. We demonstrate the assembly of DNA nanostructures at constant temperatures ranging from 4° to 50°C in solutions containing different counterions. The choice of counterions and the assembly temperature influence the isothermal assembly of several DNA motifs and designed three-dimensional DNA crystals.
