Purpose: To evaluate short and long-term efficacy of bevacizumab (Bev), for the treatment of radiation necrosis (RN) in patients with brain metastasis after stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).
Methods: The database of a tertiary medical center was reviewed for all adult patients treated by Bev (from January 2018 to January 2023) for RN after having received SRS for BM. Clinical and MRI data were systematically collected at baseline, immediately after the completion of Bev treatment, and at 6, 12, and, when available, 24 months post-treatment.

To surmount the shortcomings of powder-based catalysts and small electrode sizes, the development of meter-scale integrated electrode materials is essential for practical electrocatalytic applications, which requires fine control over the effective surface grafting of catalytic active sites on large-size electrodes as well as addressing the challenge of balancing cost-effective and large-scale manufacturing with highly active and stable operation. Herein, we report a low-cost, facile, and scalable method for directly constructing meter-scale single-molecule-integrated catalytic electrodes using commercially available, flexible, and size-tailored conductive carbon textiles (e.g.

Protothecosis is a rare and unusual disease that affects both humans and animals, including dogs. The causative agents are unicellular, achlorophyllous, "yeast-like" microalgae of the genus Prototheca (Trebouxiophyceae, Chlorophyta). Although usually saprophytic, Prototheca may, under conditions of immunologic compromise, become pathogenic and even lethal to the host.

We conducted a systematic search of Web of Science, Embase, PsycInfo, Scopus, and Applied Social Sciences Index & Abstracts, looking for studies in English of any methodology, published since the 1989 Children Act, in which statutory thresholds in England are defined. We used child welfare workers' definitions of neglect or, in the absence of this, defined "neglect" as harmful acts of omission by a caregiver (failure to do something necessary for a child's well-being).
