Workplace violence is a major global societal issue that demands attention. Nurses commonly underreport workplace violence (WPV) perpetrated by patients and visitors, which not only poses risks to their physical and emotional health but also disrupts the regular operation of health care services. We used a qualitative thematic synthesis to evaluate the rationale behind the underreporting of WPV systematically.

Background: The purpose of this study is to examine workplace violence (WPV) toward primary care physicians (PCPs), including prevalence, associated factors, impacts, and response to WPV in Chengdu, China.
Methods: We used an online cross-sectional design to collect data from October to November 2022 with a structured self-administered questionnaire from a purposive sample of 568 PCPs in Chengdu city.

Purpose: The aim of the study was to analyse the incidence of aggressive behaviour in patients of an adolescent psychiatric ward towards medical and nursing personnel and to assess the usefulness of the tools used by the authors to describe the incident itself. Currently, Polish literature and practice lack such scales. The tool used in the study was the Polish version of the Staff Observation Aggression Scale-Revised (SOAS-R).
