Take home messages 1. Despite being considered a benign tumor, the high reported incidence of embolic events increasingly warrants surgical resection, regardless of size, especially in patients with a history of cardiovascular risk factors. 2. Multimodal imaging evaluation plays a crucial role in distinguishing intracardiac masses, relying on the physician's ability to discern characteristic findings. Proper assessment leads to appropriate management decisions based on suggestive findings.

The advancements in understanding hemispheric specialization of language (HSL) have been following two primary avenues: the development of neuroimaging techniques and the study of its reorganizations in patients with various neuropathologic conditions. Hence, the objectives of this chapter are twofold. First, to provide an overview of the key neuroimaging techniques employed to investigate HSL, along with the notable findings derived from them in the healthy population.

Background: The prevalence of recreational drug use in myocardial infarction (MI) patients without standard modifiable cardiovascular risk factors (SMuRF) namely hypercholesterolemia, hypertension, diabetes and smoking, remains unknown.
Methods: All patients enrolled in The Addiction in Intensive Cardiac Care Units (ADDICT-ICCU) study, a French multicenter prospective observational study which systematically assessed the use of recreational drug within 2 h of admission, and presenting with MI but without known coronary artery disease were included. We compared patients with and without SMuRF.
The patient was a 51-year-old man who was diagnosed as having prostate cancer(adenocarcinoma)in December Year X-3. He underwent total prostatectomy in June Year X-2. The lesions were confined to the right lobe of the prostate.

Evaluating tissue distribution of Positron Emission Tomography (PET) tracers during their development conventionally involves autoradiography techniques, where radioactive compounds are used for visualization and quantification in tissues during preclinical development stages. Mass Spectrometry Imaging (MSI) offers a potential alternative, providing spatial information without the need for radioactivity with a similar spatial resolution. This study aimed to optimize a MSI sample preparation protocol for assessing PET tracer candidates with a focus on two compounds: UCB-J and UCB2400.
