Design: Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a popular treatment option in managing chronic tendinopathies, although the literature is inconsistent, mainly because of significant heterogeneity in patient populations. Patients who failed conservative management may respond differently than those who have not undergone first-line treatment. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the efficacy of PRP injections in reducing pain and improving function in patients with chronic tendinopathy who failed conservative treatment.

Objectives: to map the scientific production on teaching-learning strategies related to patient safety in higher education institutions across Nursing, Pharmacy, Medicine, and Dentistry programs.
Methods: this scoping review follows the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) guidelines and the PRISMA Extension for Scoping Reviews recommendations. The selection of studies was performed using databases, grey literature, and reverse searching, conducted by two independent and blinded reviewers.

Objective: to assess patient safety, from their own perspective, during hospitalization for COVID-19 in a university hospital.
Method: cross-sectional study conducted in a university hospital in São Paulo, Brazil, involving patients hospitalized due to COVID-19. The sample included 129 participants hospitalized between March 2020 and June 2021 who responded to the Patient Measure of Safety instrument.

Hyaluronidase-facilitated subcutaneous immunoglobulin (fSCIG) 10% offers potential improvements in patient independence and tolerability versus intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) when used for the treatment of chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP). fSCIG 10% also requires less frequent infusions and fewer infusion sites than conventional subcutaneous immunoglobulin (subcutaneous immunoglobulin without hyaluronidase). The ADVANCE-CIDP 1 study demonstrated fSCIG 10% efficacy and safety in preventing CIDP relapse and positive responses from patients in terms of satisfaction and treatment preference.

Purpose: To evaluate the occurrence of complications following intravitreal injections (IVIs) performed in an outpatient clean room (OCR) equipped with the mobile laminar airflow device (LAF) Operio.
Methods: This retrospective study analyzed the data of 10,016 IVIs performed in an OCR from April 2023 to November 2024. All information of each patient was registered, such as diagnosis, drug injected and any occurring complication or adverse events such as endophthalmitis, intraocular inflammation, rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD), vitreous hemorrhages and elevated intraocular pressure.
