Objective: Not many reports of subclavian artery occlusion complicated by vertebrobasilar junction aneurysm have been published, and no cases have been treated using a distal radial approach. Our case report highlights the effectiveness of this approach in comparison to previous findings.
Case Presentation: An 82-year-old woman was referred to our hospital because of an enlarged vertebrobasilar junction aneurysm. The DSA and CTA results revealed a left subclavian artery occlusion, meandering of the descending aorta, and an aneurysm of the descending aorta. We performed coil embolization using the right radial and left distal radial artery approaches. Considering that the left subclavian artery occlusion was related to the aneurysm enlargement, we decided to perform left subclavian artery stenting. Left subclavian artery stenting was performed 1 month after coil embolization using the same approach. The patient was discharged on postoperative day 8 without complications.
Conclusion: Vertebrobasilar junction aneurysm and subclavian artery occlusion were treated via a safe and minimally invasive approach through the right radial and left distal radial artery approaches.

Results: Of the total, 60 (55%) were female and 50 (45%) were male.

A 53-year-old female with a medical history of multiple cardiovascular risk factors, alcoholic chronic hepatic disease (Child-Pugh B) with thrombocytopenia, and severe calcified aortic stenosis was admitted for an elective transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). After the procedure, the patient was hypotensive and unresponsive to fluid challenge, and there was a significant difference in blood pressure between the two arms. The echocardiogram confirmed the normal position and function of the prosthetic valve but was suggestive of aortic dissection.

Objective: To develop a non-contrast CT based multi-regional radiomics model for predicting contrast medium (CM) extravasation in patients with tumors.
Methods: A retrospective analysis of non-contrast CT scans from 282 tumor patients across two medical centers led to the development of a radiomics model, using 157 patients for training, 68 for validation, and 57 from an external center as an independent test cohort. The different volumes of interest from right common carotid artery/right internal jugular vein, right subclavian artery/vein and thoracic aorta were delineated.
