Ancient capital culture, red culture, Beijing-style culture, and innovation culture together constitute the capital's cultural system of China and support Beijing's position as the Chinese cultural center. In order to better help the cultural construction of the capital, Beijing, and to find some common and reasonable ways to reconcile the complex urban cultural system, this paper is based on the Weibo data of Beijing in 2019, takes the BERT pre-training model and the newer topic model "BERTopic" as the tools, combines the text content, spatial layout, and sentiment analysis methods, and explores the public perception of four types of capital culture in Beijing. The results reveal that: (1) Although the perception level of Dongcheng, Xicheng, Haidian and Chaoyang core areas is much higher than that of remote areas, the sentiment feedback of remote areas is better than that of the former; (2) A type of culture actively introduces other cultural types or even foreign cultural elements in the system, which helps it form a unique cultural attraction. The typical cases are Shichahai Bar Street, the perception place of Beijing culture, and the corner cafe in the Imperial Palace, which is the perception place of ancient capital culture. (3) Traditional and popular elements are not independent and incompatible in the cultural system. In the capital culture construction, combining pop song art forms in innovation culture and classic stories of ancient capital culture, red culture, and Beijing-style culture is a road worth exploring and practicing in the future.

Studies have linked inhalation anesthesia and surgery to increased cognitive impairment, particularly in the elderly. Our previous research showed that isoflurane, but not desflurane, affected cognitive function in mice by modulating cyclophilin D (CypD), a key regulator of the mitochondrial permeability transition pore (mPTP) and mitochondrial function. Both anesthetics metabolize into trifluoroacetic acid (TFA), which is associated with cognitive deficits.

Sn-doped TiO-carbon composites were identified as promising multifunctional supports for Pt electrocatalysts, in which the oxide component enhances resistance against corrosion and strong metal-support interactions at the Pt-oxide boundary ensure high stability for the Pt nanoparticles. This work is devoted to the study of the influence of preliminary functionalization of the carbon on the properties of Pt/TiSnO-C catalysts. The structural, compositional and morphological differences between the samples prepared using functionalized or unmodified carbon, as well as the effect of carbon pre-modification on the electrocatalytic behavior of the synthesized Pt catalysts, were investigated using TEM, XRD, XPS, nitrogen adsorption and electrochemical measurements.

Background: Climate change is an urgent global threat, with women in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) disproportionately facing adverse health outcomes. Gendered roles, combined with socioeconomic, cultural, and environmental factors, exacerbate women's vulnerabilities, increasing the burden of mental health issues, water insecurity, sanitation challenges, and caregiving responsibilities.
Objectives: This review seeks to systematically examine the intersection between climate change and gendered health vulnerabilities, with a particular focus on women.

The English (or British) country house has enjoyed an under-appreciated social and economic revival in the last 25 years as a result of changes in the political economy associated with 'neoliberalism', which have benefitted both new buyers of country houses and old owners. One result of this revival has been the 're-privatization' of the country house, which has reduced its public profile. Recent interest in the cultural meanings of the country house-re-evaluated in light of empire, slavery, and nationalism-should take into account the greater insulation that neo-liberalism has lent these houses and their owners.

Background: Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) occurs when microbes undergo changes that render antimicrobial drugs ineffective against them, resulting in limited, more expensive treatment options, longer hospital stays, and increased mortality rates. No study has estimated the costs related to AMR in hospitals in Pakistan. This study was conducted to determine the financial burden of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in Pakistan and to compare it with the additional costs incurred by patients who respond well to antimicrobial treatments.
