Urethral reconstruction remains a challenge. Indeed, the use of oral mucosa, the reference biomaterial for urethroplasty, is associated with two main drawbacks: the limited availability of autologous tissues and potential short- and long-term complications, especially for patients with recurrences or severe anomalies. Therefore, the development of alternative approaches, such as urethral tissue engineering, is necessary.

Background: The design of absorbent continence products is important to family caregivers, because it can simplify pad changes, save time and improve lower back posture. However, the ergonomic design of many products has not received sufficient attention.
Aims: The study aimed to assess the time required for handling three types of absorbent continence products and evaluate physical stress on the hand-arm and back-head areas of the participants in both the lying and standing position from an ergonomic perspective.

Long QT syndrome (LQTS) is characterized by QT interval prolongation, which significantly increases the risk of malignant arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death, even in the absence of structural heart disease. While LQTS can be congenital, distinguishing it from the acquired form is crucial, though both may coexist in some cases. We present the case of a 60-year-old woman with a history of schizoaffective disorder treated with escitalopram and amisulpride and a recent prescription for ciprofloxacin for a urinary tract infection, who was admitted following a cardiac arrest.

Unlabelled: Supernumerary kidney (SK) is an uncommon anomaly of the urinary tract, usually occurring on the left side. A rare case of a partially-fused, SK on the right side is presented. The diagnosis is made through the identification of a distinct pelvicalyceal system along with its supplying renal artery and vein, utilising ultrasound, CT, or MRI.
