Background: Ward rounds are an essential component of inpatient care. Patient participation in rounds is increasingly encouraged, despite the occasional complicated circumstances, especially in acute care settings.
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of real-time ward round notifications using SMS text messaging on the satisfaction of inpatients in an acute medical ward.

Background: The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic posed substantial challenges for public health nurses (PHNs) in delivering outreach services to vulnerable pregnant women and families requiring assistance. Despite restrictive measures, the importance of maintaining face-to-face support and implementing adaptive strategies was evident.
Objectives: This study aimed to identify the key characteristics of outreach practices conducted by PHNs during the pandemic, the challenges they encountered, and the strategies needed to address these issues effectively.

Background And Purpose: Entry-level physical therapist education programs must adequately prepare graduates to effectively assess, manage, and/or refer patients with foundational integumentary/wound management (IWM) concerns in any population or setting. Unfortunately, the literature reports wide variations in the number of IWM contact hours in entry-level health professions education, as well as discrepancies in specific content covered. Standardization in curricular content through consensus-based curriculum guidelines decreases treatment variability and promotes safe, evidence-based practice across a profession.

Background: Clinical guidelines recommend pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) to prevent HIV among persons who inject drugs (PWID), yet few are reached by this evidence-based intervention. To address this challenge, we are conducting a clinical trial to evaluate the impact of contingency management (CM) with stepped care to PrEP adherence and support services (PASS) among PWID. We sought to elicit perspectives from community- and research-based implementation partners on barriers and facilitators to implementing this intervention package as well as describe perspectives around evidence-based research practices in general.
