Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is a relatively uncommon tumor among head and neck cancers, with laryngeal involvement, typically subglottic, being exceptionally rare. While ACC usually originates in the salivary glands, its occurrence in the larynx is highly unusual. Laryngeal adenoid cystic carcinoma (LACC) is characterized by indolent growth, frequent perineural invasion, and a tendency for local recurrence.

Radiolabelled fibroblast activation protein inhibitor (FAPI) tracers have the potential to overcome the limitations of 2-deoxy-2-[F]fluoro-D-glucose ([F]FDG) and improve the diagnosis and staging of hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) cancers. This study aims to compare the diagnostic performance of radiolabelled FAPI versus [F]FDG PET imaging in HPB cancers. A systematic search of PubMed, Embase, Web of Science and Cochrane Library was performed to identify eligible studies on the diagnostic performance of FAPI PET for primary HPB tumours (hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), pancreatic cancer (PC) and biliary tract cancer (BTC)) and for liver metastases of gastrointestinal origin.

Key Laboratory of Carcinogenesis and Translational Research (Ministry of Education), Beijing Key Laboratory of Research, Investigation and Evaluation of Radiopharmaceuticals, NMPA Key Laboratory for Research and Evaluation of Radiopharmaceuticals (National Medical Products Administration), Department of Nuclear Medicine, Peking University Cancer Hospital & Institute, No. 52 Fucheng Rd, Beijing 100142, China.

: This study aims to retrospectively analyze the clinical and imaging data of 101 patients with lung adenocarcinoma who underwent [F]FDG PET/CT examination and were pathologically confirmed in the Department of Nuclear Medicine at Peking University Cancer Hospital. This study explores the predictive value and important features of [F]FDG PET/CT radiomics for PD-L1 expression levels in lung adenocarcinoma patients, assisting in screening patients who may benefit from immunotherapy. : 101 patients with histologically confirmed lung adenocarcinoma who received pre-treatment [F] FDG PET/CT were included.

. CXCR4 is a chemokine receptor that is frequently overexpressed in invasive breast cancer and plays a major role in tumor proliferation, aggressiveness and metastasis. The aim of this prospective study was to establish the value of CXCR4-directed PET imaging in patients with breast cancer using the novel CXCR4-targeted PET probe Ga-Pentixafor by comparing it with F-FDG PET/CT ( = 40).
