Thrombotic events, such as strokes and deep vein thrombosis, remain a significant global health burden, with traditional diagnostic methods often failing to capture the complex, patient-specific nuances of thrombosis risk. This Perspective explores the revolutionary potential of microengineered vessel-on-chip platforms in thrombosis research and personalized medicine. We discuss the evolution from basic microfluidic channels to advanced 3D-printed, patient-specific models that accurately replicate complex vascular geometries, incorporating all elements of Virchow's triad.

The research aims at the development of 3D-printed millet-based composite dough cookies from a selected formulation, among 31 formulations, with the best printability and stability. The dough comprises composite pearl and amaranth millet flour in an equal ratio (20-40 g), shortening (10-30 g), jaggery (12-22 g), and water (25-35 g). In stage one, a comprehensive analytical printability assessment of printed construct in terms of printing precision, printing rate, and stability is conducted.

Medical image segmentation is a critical component in a wide range of clinical applications, enabling the identification and delineation of anatomical structures. This study focuses on segmentation of anatomical structures for 3D printing, virtual surgery planning, and advanced visualization such as virtual or augmented reality. Manual segmentation methods are labor-intensive and can be subjective, leading to inter-observer variability.
