Aim: Aim of the study is to evaluate microleakage of conventional GIC and addition of 1% ethanolic extract of propolis to conventional GIC.
Methodology: A study was conducted between two groups. Group A was the conventional GIC group (control) and Group B was treated with GIC incorporated with 1% ethanolic extract of propolis (experimental). To evaluate microleakage, 15 samples were used and class V cavity preparation and restoration were done. Later, they were placed in 0.6% Rhodamine-B dye and evaluated for dye penetration under stereomicroscope.
Results: Results showed that microleakage of the experimental group was decreased compared to that of the control group, but it was not statistically significant ( = 0.38).

Introduction: Vascular dementia (VD) is a neurodegenerative disease caused by chronic cerebral hypoperfusion (CCH), which considerably impact patients' quality of life. Ethanol extraction from (RY-A) has gained attention for its potential neuroprotective effects, but its effects and mechanisms of action on CCH are unknown.
Methods: After 30 days of RY-A gavage treatment in a CCH rat model, its effects were evaluated using the Morris water maze test, cerebral blood flow measurements, and HE staining of the brain.

Background: The development of new drugs that act against multidrug-resistant microorganisms and malignant tumors is necessary owing to the limited therapeutic options and high mortality rates associated with these pathologies. In this study, we evaluated the phytochemical groups present in seven plants from the Brazilian Cerrado even as their antioxidant, antiproliferative and antimicrobial activities.
Methods: The extracts were obtained by the maceration technique and secondary metabolites were determined by phytochemical analysis.

Background: Cupressus sempervirens is one of the conifer plants, that is used as an antimicrobial, antioxidant, anthelminthic, and many other health purposes. Rhipicephalus annulatus is one of the hard tick genera affecting the production and health of domestic animals in Egypt. Extensive use of chemical acaricides in the management of ticks caused acaricide resistance, environmental contamination, residues in meat and milk, and harmful effects on non-target species.
