Aim: The present investigation performed the CBCT to measure the marginal bone loss surrounding the implant both before and after the prosthesis was placed.

Materials And Methods: Within the age range of 21 to 45 years, a total of 20 patients were involved, and all participants gave their informed consent. Immediate implant was inserted and ceramic prosthesis was prepared and given to the patients. Radiographic assessment was carried out using the CBCT at baseline, three months, and six months following the prosthesis. The circumference of the crestal bone level around the implant was measured in all directions (mesial, distal, buccal, and palatal), using the implant's first thread as a standard reference point.

Results: The change of the mean marginal bone level at the time of implant placement to three months after the prosthesis was at mesial 1.32 ± 0.02 to 1.46 ± 0.10, at distal 1.46 ± 0.08 to 1.94 ± 0.14, at buccal 1.28 ± 0.01 to 1.40 ± 0.06, at palatal 1.20 ± 0.03 to 1.22 ± 0.04. The change of the mean marginal bone level at the time of implant placement to six months after the prosthesis was at mesial 1.32 ± 0.02 to 1.84 ± 0.12, at distal 1.46 ± 0.08 to 2.38 ± 0.02, at buccal 1.28 ± 0.01 to 1.78 ± 0.04, at palatal 1.20 ± 0.03 to 1.34 ± 0.01.

Conclusion: The current investigation came to the conclusion that the CBCT provides all the diagnostic information required for an implant to be placed successfully.

In particle therapy (PT), several methods are being investigated to help reduce range margins and identify deviations from the original treatment plan, such as prompt-gamma (PG) imaging with Compton cameras (CC). To reconstruct the images, the Origin Ensemble (OE) algorithm is commonly used. In the context of PT, artifacts and strong noise often affect CC images.

The aim was to assess the correlation between periodontal status, whole salivary interleukin-1 beta (IL-1β) levels and oral yeasts carriage (OYC) among individuals with varying ranges of body mass index (BMI).  Material and method: The weight, waist circumference (WC), and height of individuals were assessed. Participants were categorized into three groups: Group-1 - normal weight (18.

Background: Peri-implantitis represents a significant challenge in dental implantology, characterized by inflammatory reactions around osseointegrated dental implants that lead to progressive alveolar bone loss.

Objectives: To generate a scoping review that evaluates the efficacy of implantoplasty and Er:YAG laser therapies in managing peri-implantitis by synthesizing recent evidence on their impact on key clinical parameters-including probing depth reduction, bleeding on probing improvement, and marginal bone level stabilization-and to explore the potential synergistic benefits of combining these modalities for enhanced treatment outcomes.

Material And Methods: A comprehensive search was conducted in PubMed, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, and Web of Science for studies published from January 2018 to the present.

Purpose: Aseptic loosening (AL) of prostheses is a complex and multi-factorial consequences characterized by nonspecific hip start-up pain, impaired gait, or ambulation. The AL of acetabular components associated with femur prostheses can lead to challenges in accurate diagnosis and suitable therapy, potentially resulting in disaster consequence. This study reported revision of in four cases with AL of acetabular components associated with or without femur prostheses after underwent primary total hip arthroplasty.

Osteosarcomas of the mandible represent 3-8% of osteosarcomas. The rarity of this anatomic site and its specific treatment explain that only retrospective and a few prospective studies are available in literature. However, there is a consistent evidence on the natural history and treatment of these tumors, which clearly differentiates them from osteosarcomas of the long bones.
