Calcineurin inhibitor-induced pain syndrome (CIPS) is a rare but serious condition characterized by severe lower leg pain, often associated with elevated tacrolimus (TAC) levels. We report the case of a 57-year-old woman with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who developed CIPS following a drug interaction between TAC and clarithromycin (CAM), a common macrolide antibiotic. Discontinuation of TAC led to a rapid resolution of symptoms. This case highlights the importance of monitoring TAC levels and being cautious of drug interactions, especially in primary care settings, to prevent adverse events like CIPS.

Objectives: Naldemedine is a peripherally acting μ-opioid receptor antagonist used to treat opioid-induced constipation. As this drug does not cross the blood-brain barrier, it is believed that patients without brain metastases do not experience opioid withdrawal symptoms.
Methods: Here, we experienced a case in which a cancer patient without brain metastasis presented with anxiety and restlessness that was severe enough to interfere with daily life.

Lemmel's syndrome is a rare condition characterized by obstructive jaundice due to the periampullary duodenal diverticulum in the absence of choledocholithiasis or tumors. Its infrequent occurrence and non-specific clinical presentation can make it difficult to distinguish from other conditions. We present a case of Lemmel's syndrome in a 63-year-old male who exhibited symptoms of abdominal pain in right hypochondrium, vomiting, and fever.

Background: Between half and three quarters of the working-age population in today's industrialized globe suffers from lower back pain. The presence of a myofascial trigger point-a hyperirritable painful area comprised of a small number of muscle fibers-identifies mechanical back pain sufferers as suffering from myofascial pain syndrome, a chronic pain disorder. This research objectives to determine whether mechanical back pain patients' pain severity and functional disabilities are influenced by electromagnetic field therapy.

The effects of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection persist months and years after recovery. We conducted an online survey to assess the health condition of convalescents approximately 5 months following the primary infection of SARS-CoV-2. The study recruited 5,510 individuals who were primary infected, 626 participants who had experienced reinfection, and 521 participants who were without infective history.
