Surgical correction of neuromuscular scoliosis is a challenging problem facing spine surgeons. Many patients require long constructs and pelvic fixation to obtain adequate curve correction and pelvic obliquity correction. The aim of this technical note is to describe a technique for sequential pelvic obliquity and scoliotic curve correction in patients with neuromuscular scoliosis using four rods in upper thoracic to pelvis posterior spinal fusion, without the need for intraoperative traction.

The problem of providing an objective characterization of human variation have been often intermingled with the questionable task of providing scientific grounds for racism. The source of this confusion lies in the misconception that Petrus Camper's (1722-1789) theory of the facial line demonstrates the superiority of the Caucasian racial type. In this paper, we argue that the invention of the facial line, far from obeying Euro-centric aesthetic bias, grounded Camper's neutrality with respect to any claim of racial superiority.

Single-cell transcriptome sequencing (scRNA-seq) is widely used in the fields of animal and plant developmental biology and important trait analysis by obtaining single-cell transcript abundance data in high throughput, which can deeply reveal cell types, subtype composition, specific gene markers and functional differences. However, scRNA-seq data are often accompanied by problems such as high noise, high dimensionality and batch effect, resulting in a large number of low-expressed genes and variants, which seriously affect the accuracy and reliability of data analysis. This not only increases the complexity of data processing, but also limits the effectiveness of feature selection and downstream analysis.

Background: The rapid advancement of technology has made mobile health (mHealth) a promising tool to mitigate health problems, particularly among older adults. Despite the numerous benefits of mHealth, assessing individual acceptance is required to address the specific needs of older people and promote their intention to use mHealth.
Objective: This study aims to adapt and validate the senior technology acceptance model (STAM) questionnaire for assessing mHealth acceptance in the Thai context.
