Pancreatic pseudocysts are a complication of both acute and chronic pancreatitis that usually develop four to six weeks from the onset of pancreatitis. Alcoholic pancreatitis is the most important risk factor for developing such cysts, although non-alcoholic cases do also occur. This is the case of a 58-year-old male patient who presented to our emergency department with a two-day history of abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and inability to tolerate oral food and liquids.

Primary leptomeningeal lymphoma (PLML) is a rare variant of primary central nervous system lymphoma, distinguished by the absence of parenchymal lesions. We describe an exceptionally rare case of PLML in an 86-year-old woman presenting with hydrocephalus. Magnetic resonance imaging showed ventricular enlargement over a two-week period, accompanied by faint periventricular contrast enhancement.

Background: Calcified amorphous tumour (CAT) is a rare lesion that forms at various sites of the heart, including the mitral annulus. Since it is a systemic embolic source, it often requires resection. In contrast, caseous calcification of the mitral annulus (CCMA) usually receives conservative follow-up; however, it is sometimes resected to prevent embolism.

Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is the most common type of hair loss, and there is a lack of ideal treatment options. The damage and shedding of hair follicles are closely associated with niche dysregulation, including reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation, microvascular damage, and persistent inflammation. In this study, a biocomposite microneedle system comprising hypoxic extracellular vesicle (EV)-encapsulated selenium nanozyme (Se-HEVs-AMN) was designed to create a favorable perifollicular microenvironment.
