To investigate the effectiveness of ethiodized oil lymphangiography and TIPS creation in cirrhosis-related chylous ascites, ten patients were included between January 2019 and December 2023. After the failure of conservative treatment, patients received ethiodized oil lymphangiography to identify and embolize the chylous leakage first, and then the TIPS procedure was conducted. Symptoms of chylous leakage were not controlled after ethiodized oil lymphangiography, including patients' weight increase, abdominal circumference increase, and serum albumin level decrease. After undergoing TIPS procedure one week later, chylous ascites gradually alleviated, including patients' weight decrease, abdominal circumference decrease, and serum albumin level maintenance. In the follow-up of 15.6 ± 11.6 months, all chylous ascites were relieved without recurrence. In summary, ethiodized oil inguinal node lymphangiography was not capable of identifying and controlling lymphatic leakage, but TIPS creation is an effective method to control chylous ascites in patients with cirrhosis.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of para-aortic lymphadenectomy on blood pressure changes in endometrial cancer patients.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included patients with endometrial cancer treated surgically between 2017 and 2023. Patients undergoing para-aortic lymphadenectomy, up to the renal artery, in a non-nerve-sparing fashion, were compared with those undergoing pelvic lymphadenectomy or sentinel lymph node mapping.

Background: This study aimed to evaluate the incidence, severity, and treatment modalities of chylous ascites after laparoscopic/robotic para-aortic lymph node (PALN) dissection for left-sided colorectal cancer (CRC).

Methods: A cohort of 143 patients who underwent laparoscopic PALN dissection for left-sided CRC were included. The least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) and logistic regression analysis were performed to identify risk factors for the occurrence of chylous ascites.

Background: This study aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of intranodal lymphangiography (IL) for the treatment of postoperative chyle leakage (CL), chylothorax, and chylous ascites.

Methods: Between April 2018 and July 2022, eight patients who underwent IL for CL following thyroid and thoraco-abdominal surgeries were included in this retrospective study. Among these eight patients, six underwent bilateral total thyroidectomy, one underwent lobectomy of the lung, and one underwent total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy.

Aim: This prospective single-center study aimed to evaluate the nonhepatobiliary applications of indocyanine green fluorescence-guided surgery (ICG FGS) in pediatric patients, assessing its utility as an adjunct for intraoperative imaging.

Materials And Methods: Over a 30-month period from January 2021 to July 2023, pediatric patients undergoing various surgical procedures, excluding hepatobiliary cases, were included in the study. ICG (Aurogreen™) was administered intravenously or directly injected in tissue, and fluorescence imaging was conducted using specialized equipment (KARL STORZ GmbH and Co.
