The incidence of paravalvular leak (PVL) following surgical valve replacement is 5-17%. Our main aim is to determine the safety and efficacy of percutaneous device closure for significant PVLs.Transcatheter device closure was done for 45 PVLs in 42 patients. PVLs were closed percutaneously in mitral position in 23 cases, in aortic position in 20 cases, and combined mitral and aortic leaks in 2 cases. We achieved a technical success rate of 93.33% and procedural success rate of 91.11%. Transcatheter PVL closure is a safe and effective procedure for symptomatic PVLs.

To address the computational challenges faced by edge devices using deep learning to process LiDAR point cloud data, this paper proposes a SLAM algorithm incorporating Top-K optimization to generate semantic descriptors and global semantic map for laser data efficiently. This approach aims to reduce computational complexity while enhancing processing speed. The algorithm extracts semantic information from LiDAR data, constructs two-dimensional semantic descriptors, and improves the robot's semantic understanding of its surrounding environment.

Synthetic methodology is a fundamental framework for preparing functional materials, significantly advancing their development. Herein, a novel 6π electrocyclization reaction is unexpectedly discovered that promotes further ring closure in materials derived from multi-resonance thermally activated delayed fluorescence (MR-TADF) compounds, known for their narrow emission. By simply raising the reaction temperature, this process significantly red-shifts the emission peak of the target material while effectively narrowing its emissive width and greatly enhancing its optoelectronic performance.
