Background: Postoperative haemorrhage following palatine tonsillectomy occurs in 5-14% of cases. Since 2021, our department has used knot suturing with 3-0 Vicryl, and from 2023, continuous suturing with the V-Loc closure device to reduce suture time. While knot suturing is reported to reduce postoperative bleeding and pain, no studies have compared outcomes between different suture methods.

High pressure injection injuries to upper extremities are largely rare occurrences. The direct and indirect effects of the injected substance can cause debilitating consequences for those affected and can lead to digit amputation. This case series includes three patients with high pressure injection injuries admitted to a single tertiary centre over one year.

In endemic regions, intra-orbital hydatid cysts are a rare manifestation of Echinococcus granulosus infection, classically disturbing the liver and lungs. This report details a patient's case with an intra-orbital cyst presenting. Diagnostic imaging revealed a cystic lesion causing optic nerve displacement.

Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is a highly malignant tumor in women, characterized by high morbidity, mortality, and recurrence rates. Although surgical treatment, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy are the mainstays of current treatment methods, the high heterogeneity of TNBC results in unsatisfactory outcomes with low 5-year survival rates. Rapid advancements in omics technology have propelled the understanding of TNBC molecular biology.
