Purpose: Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) are delivered by transducer arrays applied to scalp or body surface for treatment of multiple malignancies. Dermatologic complications are thought to be related to hydrogel situated between the electrodes and scalp or skin to facilitate electric field penetration. High intensity of TTFields on these surfaces may also be a contributing factor.

Thoracic aortic aneurysm and dissection (TAAD) significantly impact cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. A large subset of TAAD cases, particularly those with an earlier onset, is linked to heritable genetic defects. Despite progress in characterizing genes associated with both syndromic and non-syndromic heritable TAAD, the causative gene remains unknown in most cases.

In October 2024 we celebrated the 15th anniversary of the first launch of ChEMBL, Europe's most impactful, open-access drug discovery database, hosted by EMBL's European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI). This is a good moment to reflect on ChEMBL's history, the role that ChEMBL plays in Cheminformatics and Drug Discovery as well as innovations accelerated using data extracted from it. The review closes by discussing current challenges and possible directions that need to be taken to guarantee that ChEMBL continues to be the pioneering resource for highly curated, open bioactivity data on the European continent and beyond.

Gold standard genomic datasets severely under-represent non-European populations, leading to inequities and a limited understanding of human disease. Therapeutics and outcomes remain hidden because we lack insights that could be gained from analyzing ancestrally diverse genomic data. To address this significant gap, we present PhyloFrame, a machine learning method for equitable genomic precision medicine.

Objective: Chin ptosis, characterized by the descent of soft tissues below the inferior mandibular border, significantly impacts lower facial aesthetics. Traditional facial rejuvenation procedures often fail to comprehensively address this condition. The surgical net technique offers a novel approach for precise repositioning and stabilization of the chin.
