In this study, the effect of magnetized solvent on the synthesis and properties of magnetic graphene oxide@UiO-66 (MGO@UiO-66) nanocomposite as sorbent was investigated. The prepared sorbent was used for the magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) of remdesivir drug from water and plasma samples. The extracted remdesivir was quantitatively determined by high-performance liquid chromatography with a photodiode array detector (HPLC-PDA). The MGO@UiO-66 sorbents were characterized using various techniques such as Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), Brauer-emmett-teller analysis (BET), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and vibrating-sample magnetometry. The optimization of extraction parameters such as desorption solvent and its volume, sorbent amount, pH, desorption conditions, and extraction time were investigated and studied. Under the optimized conditions, the calibration plot for remdesivir was linear within the range of 0.1-300 ng mL and limits of detection (0.03 ng mL). The MSPE-HPLC-PDA method showed good extraction recovery and relative standard deviations (RSD%) in the range of 95.5-99.5 % and 3.8-4.7 %, respectively. Furthermore, the method that was effectively utilized to analyze remdesivir in water and plasma samples, resulted in relative recoveries ranging from 95.5 % to 99.3 %.

This study focuses on primary radical ionic species created in liquid carbonates upon high-energy radiation. We studied the radiation-induced fluorescence intensity decays observed from solutions of luminophores in dimethyl, diethyl, ethylene, and propylene carbonates. Based on the effects of external magnetic and electric fields on the fluorescence decays on a timescale of 1-60 ns and quantum chemical calculations, we found that in all studied carbonates, solvent ionization was rapidly followed by the formation of comparatively long-lived positive charge and unpaired electron spin carriers.

Owing to its negligible biological background and high magnetic resonance sensitivity, F magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has emerged as a competitive complement for H MRI, which is already widely used in biomedical research and clinical practice. The performance of F MRI is greatly reliant on imaging probes, the development of which poses considerable demands on F sources. Fluorinated ionic liquids (FILs) have recently attracted increasing attention as alternative F sources because of their good aqueous solubility, ease of chemical modification, and high fluorine contents.

More than a decade since its introduction, the polymeric excipient Soluplus continues to receive considerable attention for its application in the development of amorphous solid dispersions (ASDs) and its utility as a solubilizer for drugs exhibiting solubility limited absorption. While it is well-recognized that Soluplus forms micelles, the impact of its lower critical solution temperature of approximately 40 °C remains an underexplored aspect. This study investigated the phase behavior of Soluplus in fasted-state simulated intestinal fluid (FaSSIF-V1).

Macroprolactinemia refers to the condition where more than 60% of the prolactin circulating in the peripheral blood is composed of high molecular weight macroprolactins. These macroprolactins typically have low biological activity but can lead to a false increase in serum prolactin levels.

Two Fe(III)Mn(III) bimetallic compounds, [Tp*Fe (CN)][(Mnsalen)]·MeOH·MeCN () and [Tp*Fe (CN)][Mnsalphen]·MeOH·HO (), were prepared by assembling the tricyanometalate building block (TEA)N [Tp*Fe(CN)] [Tp* = hydrotris(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)borate] and the respective Mn Schiff base precursors [salen = ,'-ethylenebis(salicylideneiminate), salphen = ,-bis(salicylidene)-1,2-phenylenediamine]. Both compounds exhibit a one-dimensional (1D) zigzag chain structure linked by cyanide bridges, forming a (-Fe-C≡N-Mn-N≡C-) motif. Magnetic studies show a gradual increase of χ values in both complexes upon lowering temperature, indicating ferromagnetic coupling between the Fe and Mn metal centers with Curie-Weiss constants of +1.
