We examine the relation between supersymmetric localization on S^{4} and standard QFT results for nonconformal theories in flat space. Specifically, we consider 1/2 BPS circular Wilson loops in four-dimensional SU(N) N=2 supersonic Yang-Mills theories with massless hypermultiplets in an arbitrary representation R such that the β function is nonvanishing. On S^{4}, localization maps this observable into an interacting matrix model. Despite broken conformal symmetry at the quantum level, we show that within a specific regime of validity the matrix model predictions are consistent with perturbation theory in flat space up to order g^{6}. At this order, the reorganization of Feynman diagrams based on the matrix model potential, which has been widely tested in conformal models, also applies in nonconformal setups and is realized, in perturbative field theory, through highly nontrivial interference mechanisms.

Covalent modification is an effective strategy for reducing allergenicity to individual allergens, but there are few studies on this strategy modifying specific amino acids within epitopes under the influence of food matrix. This study used fucoidan to covalently modify shrimp () and combined mass spectrometry and bioinformatics techniques to explore epitope modification. The results showed that lower concentrations (<2.

The benefit of hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) in ovarian cancer remains controversial, hindering the development of rational combination therapies based on hyperthermia (HT). This study reports the preliminary results of the neoadjuvant HIPEC (NHIPEC) trial (ChiCTR2000038173), demonstrating enhanced tumor response in high-grade serous ovarian cancer with NHIPEC. Through single-cell RNA sequencing analysis, we identified both homogeneous and heterogeneous cellular responses to HT within the tumor and microenvironment.

Pancreatic cancer (PC) is a highly metastatic malignancy. More than 80% of patients with PC present with advanced-stage disease, preventing potentially curative surgery. The neuropeptide Y (NPY) system, best known for its role in controlling energy homeostasis, has also been shown to promote tumorigenesis in a range of cancer types, but its role in PC has yet to be explored.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by synovial inflammation, pannus formation, and progressive joint destruction. The inflammatory milieu in RA drives endothelial cell activation and upregulation of adhesion molecules, thus facilitating leukocyte infiltration into the synovium. Reelin, a circulating glycoprotein previously implicated in endothelial activation and leukocyte recruitment in diseases such as atherosclerosis and multiple sclerosis, has emerged as a potential upstream regulator of these processes.

The activity of Wnt inhibitory factor 1 (WIF1) is reduced upon promoter methylation and is involved in cartilage degradation in osteoarthritis. This study aims to investigate the mechanism by which WIF1 methylation is involved in chondrocyte damage in ankylosing spondylitis (AS). A model of chondrocyte inflammatory injury in AS was constructed by stimulation with interleukin (IL)-17.
