The electrochemical conversion of nitrate to ammonia has garnered growing attention, as it aims to reduce carbon emissions and promote environmental sustainability. Nevertheless, developing an electrocatalyst that exhibits outstanding activity, selectivity, and stability is still a significant challenge. Here, we report three Anderson-type polyoxometalates (POMs)-modified cobalt metal-organic framework (Co-MOF), namely, Co-MOF/MMo (M = Fe, Co, Ni) composite electrocatalyst, fabricated using an easy standing method. Among them, POMs not only facilitated the formation of lamellar structures with a high specific surface area of Co-MOF as a morphology regulator but also contributed to electron transfer between Co-MOF as an electron-rich cluster, achieving an enhancement in the catalytic performance of NORR to NH. In particular, Co-MOF/NiMo exhibits NORR performance with maximal Faradaic efficiency of 98.2% at -0.8 V vs the reverse hydrogen electrode (vs reversible hydrogen electrode (RHE)) and NH yield rate of up to 10.88 mg h mg, better than most previously reported MOF-based catalysts. By in situ spectrometric measurement, we demonstrate that the NH formation via a kinetically favored pathway of NO → *NO → *NO → *NO → *NHOH → *NH. This work indicates the considerable potential of POM-based MOF materials for the electrochemical NORR to NH.

Optic neuritis is an inflammatory demyelinating disease of the optic nerve that often occurs in multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. Sixty percent of patients develop some level of permanent visual loss due to retinal ganglion cell (RGC) damage following optic neuritis, with no known treatment to prevent this loss. Prior studies showed that MP201, a prodrug of 2,4-dinitrophenol (DNP) administered in the experimental autoimmune encephalitis (EAE) mouse model of MS attenuated optic neuritis with preserved vision, increased retinal ganglion cell (RGC) survival, decreased axon loss, and reduced demyelination.

Introduction: Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) may reoccur following liver transplantation (LT), and the diagnosis established once imaging studies demonstrate the diagnostic cholangiographic appearance. To evaluate whether the development of recurrent PSC (rPSC) is associated with cholestasis soon after LT, we studied whether changes in hepatic biochemistry within the first 12 months were linked with the development of rPSC and graft loss.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort analysis of 158 transplant recipients with PSC in Canada and 549 PSC transplant recipients from the United Kingdom.

Background: The risk of second tumors after chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy, especially the risk of T-cell neoplasms related to viral vector integration, is an emerging concern.
Methods: We reviewed our clinical experience with adoptive cellular CAR T-cell therapy at our institution since 2016 and ascertained the occurrence of second tumors. In one case of secondary T-cell lymphoma, a broad array of molecular, genetic, and cellular techniques were used to interrogate the tumor, the CAR T cells, and the normal hematopoietic cells in the patient.

To explore the relationship between the twisted π-conjugation framework of aromatic chromophores and the efficacy of intersystem crossing (ISC), we have studied a ,,,-boron-chelated Bodipy derivative possessing a severely distorted molecular structure. Surprisingly, this chromophore is highly fluorescent, showing inefficient ISC (singlet oxygen quantum yield, = 12%). These features differ from those of helical aromatic hydrocarbons, where the twisted framework promotes ISC.
