Objectives: Energy drink (ED) consumption is frequently observed among higher education students and is often associated with increased concentration and academic performance. However, the purported benefits are not fully supported by scientific evidence. This protocol details methods for a systematic review and meta-analysis to evaluate the effects of ED on university students' mental health and academic performance.

We show that following the standard mantra of quantum chemistry and diagonalizing the Born-Oppenheimer (BO) Hamiltonian () is not the optimal means to construct potential energy surfaces. A better approach is to diagonalize a phase-space electronic Hamiltonian, (, ), which is parameterized by both nuclear position and nuclear momentum . Such a nonperturbative phase-space electronic Hamiltonian can be constructed using a partial Wigner transform and the method has exactly the same cost as BO for a semiclassical calculation (and only a slight increase in cost for a quantum nuclear calculation).

In the last decade, it has been discovered that intestinal flora can affect various organ-specific cancers by altering the body's energy balance, synthesizing genetic toxins and small signaling molecules, and initiating and modulating immune responses. In this review, we will focus on elucidating the role of intestinal flora based on its molecular mechanisms and its possible impact on head and neck cancers in the near future, and explore how it may be a novel approach to treating head and neck cancers in the future.

Photosynthesis in plants has inspired photochemical reactions in organic chemistry. Synthetic organic chemists always seek cost-effective, operationally simple, averting the use of toxic and difficult-to-remove metallic catalysts, atom economical, and high product purity in organic reactions. In the last few decades, the use of light as a catalyst in organic reactions has increased exponentially as literature has exploded with examples, particularly by using toxic and expensive metal complexes, photosensitizers like organic dyes, hypervalent iodine, or by using inorganic semiconductors.
