Health care worker well-being is critical to delivering optimal care to our patients. With greater understanding of these issues, evidence-informed models of employee well-being have been developed to guide efforts to improve well-being in the workplace. To ensure that organizational approaches resonate with staff needs, these models can be improved for local application by engaging employees in a co-creation process in which they actively participate in developing and refining the institutional framework for employee well-being. This article describes how the Mayo Clinic Employee Well-Being team, led by Mayo Clinic's first organization-level medical director and administrator of Employee Well-Being, integrated employee input with existing well-being models through a comprehensive process to define a program structure reflecting the most important staff needs. The novel features of this approach are intended to serve as a guide for health care organizations as we work together to promote learning and working environments in medicine in which every member of the health care team can thrive.

Background: Acceptance and commitment therapy provides a psychobehavioral framework feasible for digital and hybrid weight loss interventions. In face-to-face studies, group-based interventions yield more favorable outcomes than individual interventions, but the effect of the intervention form has not been studied in combination with eHealth.
Objective: This study investigated whether a minimal, 3-session group or individual enhancement could provide additional benefits compared to an eHealth-only intervention when assessing weight, body composition, and laboratory metrics in a sample of occupational health patients with obesity.

We evaluated the in vivo therapeutic efficacy and tolerability of BI-3406-mediated pharmacological inhibition of SOS1 in comparison to genetic ablation of this universal Ras-GEF in various KRAS-dependent experimental tumor settings. Contrary to the rapid lethality caused by SOS1 genetic ablation in SOS2 mice, SOS1 pharmacological inhibition by its specific inhibitor BI-3406 did not significantly affect animal weight/viability nor cause noteworthy systemic toxicity. Allograft assays using different KRAS cell lines showed that treatment with BI-3406 impaired RAS activation and RAS downstream signaling and decreased tumor burden and disease progression as a result of both tumor-intrinsic and -extrinsic therapeutic effects of the drug.
