Purpose: The miR-125a-5p has been reported influence the development of lung cancer, however, the link between it and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is still not well understood. Hence, this study was designed to investigate the molecular pathway by which miR-125a-5p related biomarkers were involved in COPD.
Patients And Methods: The differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and module genes related to COPD in GSE100153 were screened out by differential analysis and weighted gene co-expression network analysis, respectively.

Objective: This study aimed to predict and evaluate the efficacy of various polymyxin B dosing regimens for Gram-negative bacteremia using Monte Carlo simulation, with a specific focus on assessing the efficacy in patients receiving continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT). The goal was to optimize clinical dosing regimens and guide rational polymyxin B use in practice.
Methods: A total of 1,939 Gram-negative bacterial strains were analyzed, collected between April 2019 and December 2021 through the China Bloodstream Gram-negative Pathogens Antimicrobial Resistance and Virulence Surveillance Network (CARVIS-NET).

G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) constitute the largest and most frequently used family of molecular drug targets. The simplicity of GPCR drug design results from their common seven-transmembrane-helix topology and well-understood signaling pathways. GPCRs are extremely sensitive to slight changes in the chemical structure of compounds, which allows for the reliable design of highly selective and specific drugs.

/(tarragon) is a perennial plant used in traditional medicine and the food industry. The plant is known to have beneficial effects on health, such as antibacterial, antifungal, antiseptic, carminative, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, anthelmintic, etc. In this study, the compounds present in the highest concentrations in the essential oils obtained by different extraction methods from tarragon found on the Romanian market were identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
